After kicking off the 2013 Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, Sebastian Silva's indie road trip comedy Crystal Fairy and the Magical Cactus is coming to theaters this summer. The film follows Michael Cera as Jamie, an American living in Chile who is keen on heading into the desert for a Mescaline-fueled psychedelic trip with his local friends. But the journey isn't quite what he seems after he accidentally invites Crystal Fairy (Gaby Hoffman) on the trip. Her free and esoteric nature clashes with Jamie’s acidic, self-absorbed personality, and it makes for some comedy and awkwardness. The performances from Cera and Hoffman are great, but the film as a whole didn't quite work for me. Watch?

Every single year, the President of the United States pardons a single turkey from being eaten for Thanksgiving. But what happens to that turkey afterwards? Apparently he lives the life of luxury. Owen Wilson voices a pardoned turkey who has his cushy life interrupted when he's recruited by another high strung, eccentric turkey (Woody Harrelson) to go back in time and stop their kind from being on the menu at the very first Thanksgiving. Amy Poehler also lends her voice to the animated time travel adventure Free Birds from the director of Horton Hears a Who!, and it looks like some good holiday fun.

"Then she falls for you... what happens then?" A24 has finally unveiled a trailer for one of our favorite films of Sundance 2013, James Ponsoldt's The Spectacular Now, another fantastic coming-of-age love story starring Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley. This indie gem is from the same guys who wrote 500 Days of Summer and tells an amusing, heartwarming, riveting story of young love and growing up. Ponsoldt is one of my favorite directors around, I love the performances he captures. Shailene more than anyone melts my heart. Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Brie Larson and Kyle Chandler make appearances, too. Enjoy!

"I'm just going to come right out - I have no idea what's going on, at all." To go along with the very first teaser trailer debuted yesterday, another international teaser has hit for Phil Lord & Chris Miller's animated The LEGO Movie. There is a lot of the same footage in this as the other teaser, introducing Emmet (voiced by Chris Pratt) and the Batman joke, but there's also some other shots that make this look much crazier than I was expecting. Yea it's just one big LEGO commercial, but I trust in the directors (Lord & Miller) to come up with something genuinely hilarious, totally entertaining and yet still heartfelt by the end. Check it!

"Welcome to the 80's, baby." The fearsome four have returned! Paramount has finally unveiled the first full theatrical trailer for Adam McKay's Anchorman: The Legend Continues sequel, reuniting the four guys from the Channel 4 news team to Journey's "Don't Stop Believing." In addition to the four regulars, Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner, we get glimpses of James Marsden, Kristen Wiig and Meagan Good but thankfully no other major cameos (just yet). There is also a hint at the story, but I'm just happy to see these guys back together again ready to report the news to San Diego. Have a blast!

Though we're not sure when Justice League will get off the ground, next year, audiences will be able to see an assembly of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and 1980s-something space guy on the big screen next year. That's right, they're all in The LEGO Movie, the newest animated venture from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller. This has all the charm and hilarity of the aforementioned animated children's book adaptation with a clear love for the LEGO toys and a comedic sensibility that kids and adults will all enjoy. Chris Pratt and Morgan Freeman stick out as voice talent along with Will Arnett as a great Batman. This looks awesome! Watch!

We've already seen a couple of trailers from across the pond for the British romantic comedy I Give It a Year, the directorial debut of Brüno and Borat writer Dan Mazer, which he also wrote himself. Now the film is poised to debut in the United States later this summer, and a new trailer has arrived. Rose Byrne (Bridesmaids) and Rafe Spall (Prometheus) play an unlikely couple who are inexplicably happy, embarking on a new chapter of their life by getting married. But their friends and family don't think it will last, and their exes, played by Anna Faris and Simon Baker, might make their predictions come true.

Open your heart. Find your voice. If you're looking for something on the lighter side, stop by and check this out. The Weinstein Co recently debuted a trailer for a film called Unfinished Song, written & directed by Paul Andrew Williams. The British charmer stars Gemma Arterton (Prince of Persia, Byzantium, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters) as the director of a local singing group who befriends a grumpy old man, played by Terence Stamp. The cast includes Vanessa Redgrave, Christopher Eccleston, Anne Reid. This looks to be another uplifting charmer in the vein of Quartet. Can Tamina tame cranky Zod through singing?

What an oddly amusing first look. Disney has unveiled the very first teaser trailer for their new animated musical Frozen, starring the voice of Kristen Bell as Anna in a "Snow Queen"-inspired story. However, instead of actually showing footage, the teaser takes a cue from Ice Age and is just a comical short featuring a goofy snowman and a reindeer hungry for a carrot. At the least, it seems like that might be (the lead guy) Kristoff's reindeer, but they don't show any other main characters or even give us a sound of the voices or music. That said, this may work well marketed to families but I still wish it had some real footage. Have fun!

Normally TV productions are outside of our wheelhouse, but when Steven Spielberg and his Amblin Entertainment banner round up some A-list talent to bring to life letters from around the world sent to Jackie Kennedy in the wake of the assassination of her husband and President of the United States of America, John F. Kennedy, we're inclined to pay attention. Letters to Jackie is a new TV documentary based on Ellen Fitzpatrick's book of the same name which looks at more than 800,000 letters, read by Jessica Chastain, Channing Tatum, Frances McDormand, Zooey Deschanel, Anne Hathaway and more. Now a trailer for the TV doc airing on TLC this fall has arrived, and it's really very touching.

"This ain't nothin' new." Well that was fast. Following the new Comic-Con poster debut over this weekend, another brand new international trailer for David Twohy's Riddick starring Vin Diesel has hit the web. We just got the full trailer for this sci-fi sequel a month ago, but this one still packs a punch. It shows quite a few full scenes, but also has some fantastic VFX alien shots that kind of kick ass. The cast includes Katee Sackhoff, Karl Urban, Nolan Funk, Dave Bautista, Noah Danby and Jordi Mollà. I'm honestly really excited to see this, my kind of action sci-fi, and I love Riddick being back in this solo way. "Times up!"

"Was all this legal? Absolutely not." Time to meet Jay Gatsby of the 1980's. Paramount has debuted the first trailer for The Wolf of Wall Street, the latest movie directed by Martin Scorsese, starring Leonardo DiCaprio as a young millionaire living the party life. This almost-Goodfellas-sequel also stars Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey, Jon Bernthal, Margot Robbie and Kyle Chandler, plus plenty of others yet to be seen (in this trailer), like Rob Reiner, Jon Favreau, Jean Dujardin, and Spike Jonze. This looks a bit more like Spring Breakers in Manhattan than Wall Street, but I trust in Scorsese and his stellar cast. Enjoy!

We're not even halfway through the summer, but the later releases of the blockbuster season are pushing hard for audiences to get interested. One such film that seems like it has a bit of an uphill battle for audiences outside of the young adult realm is Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. The film gives Lily Collins (The Blind Side, Priest) the lead role as a seemingly human woman (or Mundane) who learns that she is part of a sect of half-angel warriors, making her able to see between the our world and theirs. There's a lot going on in this international trailer, but this one seems like a bit of a dud. Maybe we'll be surprised?

In what looks like evidence that John Travolta needs another Pulp Fiction career revival, the first trailer for the generic thriller Killing Season from director Mark Steven Johnson (Ghost Rider) is here. Despite the fact that Robert De Niro (who has been hit or miss in the late part of his career) is the one facing off against Travolta in this thriller, the trailer is cut together poorly and doesn't look thrilling in the least. Travolta has a Serbian accent and De Niro just looks like he's going through the motions. Plus, it seems like the trailer really gives away the ending, or at least most of the better parts of this conflict between the two.

"Here's coming after me next... Please Julian, protect me." Get a load of this. Radius-TWC has released yet another new trailer for Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn's Only God Forgives, one last tease at the neon-lit, Bangkok-set, extremely violent revenge film starring Ryan Gosling, Kristin Scott Thomas and Vithaya Pansringarm. As we highlighted before, this film had a divisive response with critics in Cannes, but will likely earn a cult following here in the US. They don't include any critics' quotes, just lots of violence and plenty of Larry Smith's lush neon cinematography, as well as Cliff Martinez's amazing score. I liked the film and gave it a good review. See my interview with Nicolas Winding Refn. "He's a very dangerous boy."

Another Sundance selected film from the 2013 festival is headed to theaters this fall with Touchy Feely from Your Sister's Sister and Humpday director Lynn Shelton. In the film, a massage therapist (Rosemarie DeWitt) is unable to do her job when stricken with a mysterious and sudden aversion to bodily contact. Meanwhile, her uptight brother Paul (Josh Pais) finds success when his struggling dental practice receives new life when clients seek out his healing touch. This feels like your typical indie with characters trying to find themselves, and risky romance blossoming amidst uneasiness, but it may be good?

Right now comedy fans can see stand-up giant Kevin Hart handle the apocalypse alongside Seth Rogen, James Franco, Danny McBride, Jonah Hill and their whole crew in This is the End, but later this summer, the spotlight will be all his. Following in the footsteps of comedians like Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy, the Death at a Funeral and Five-Year Engagement star takes his stand-up act to theaters with Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain. The red band trailer for the stand-up concert documentary has just surfaced and features Hart riffing on romance, friendship and a cross between a zebra and a deer that haunts his dreams.

"This ain't gunna kill me." Sony has revealed the second trailer, playing before Man of Steel this weekend, for District 9 director Neill Blomkamp's sci-fi Elysium starring Matt Damon. The first trailer hit back in March and gave us an introduction to the concept and a glimpse at some of the action. This time we get more scenes of incredible full-on action and more of Blomkamp's visually stunning futuristic world. The cast includes Jodie Foster, William Fichtner, Alice Braga and D9's Sharlto Copley as the badass Kruger. This is now my most anticipated movie still left this summer, everything about it looks awesome. Can't wait!

"Mystery... we all like mystery." The Weinstein Company has released this full trailer for Salinger, the documentary by Shane Salerno (writer on Shaft and Savages) presenting one of the most comprehensive looks at the reclusive author of The Catcher in the Rye. The doc features lots of interviews and footage, photographs and other material painting a mysterious picture of a haunted but brilliant individual. In this trailer they show Edward Norton, John Cusack, Martin Sheen, Danny DeVito and playwright John Guare speaking briefly, with many others featured in the doc itself. This looks like a very compelling watch.

"Don't you think it's strange that we're all here at the same time?" Kino Lorber has debuted the full trailer for their B&W indie Computer Chess, which premiered at Sundance this year and won the Alfred P. Sloan Prize. The film is set at a "man vs. machine chess tournament" where a group of "young geniuses as they try to make the ultimate chess program to beat a human player." Even though this looks very odd whenever I see footage, there's just something alluring to it, I need to check it out. I love the quote about this being "a new Dr. Strangelove," which makes me a bit more excited. Give this a shot, there's something fresh about it.

As we indicated when the teaser trailer arrived earlier this year, Steve Coogan made quite a name for himself as Alan Partridge, a fictional chat show host similar to that of "The Larry Sanders Show" in the U.S. or Sacha Baron Cohen's various characters across the pond. Though the TV series featuring the character ended in 2002, Coogan is back as the struggling chat show host in Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa, and this time he's trying to salvage his public career while negotiating a potentially violent turn of events at North Norfolk Digital Radio where his old partner Pat (Colm Meaney) has taken the station hostage. Now the full trailer is here, and for those who love Coogan and British comedy, it's pretty funny.

After we saw a precise number of Spartans dine in hell in the adaptation of Frank Miller's graphic novel 300, from Man of Steel director Zack Snyder, the follow-up, 300: Rise of an Empire chronicles a new war with elements of the story taking place before, during and after the first film. Smart People director Noam Murro is stepping into action territory for the first time, and this pseudo-sequel certainly has the style and spirit of the first film. Sullivan Stapleton leads the pack as Themistocles leading Greece to a hopeful victory over the Persian forces of Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and the villainous vixen Artemesia (Eva Green). Can this make a splash with the audience who loved the original macho film? Watch below!

One of the more charming Sundance comedies from the 2013 festival marked the feature directorial debut of actress Lake Bell (No Strings Attached, It's Complicated). In a World... sees Bell taking the lead as a vocal coach, struggling to prove her talents as a movie trailer voiceover performer to an industry dominated by males, including her discouraging father (Fred Melamed) and cocky rising star Gustav (Ken Marino). The film is a fine debut for Bell as a writer, director and leading woman with a script that is witty, despite having a familiar story arc, mostly because of the unique premise. Now you can watch the first trailer below!

"Trust me bub, you don't want what I've got." Uh oh. This looks badass! Fox has debuted another brand new international trailer for James Mangold's The Wolverine, starring Hugh Jackman once again as Wolvie defending his honor in Japan. We've seen plenty of trailers and footage, including the most recent theatrical trailer which contains a lot of the same footage. But this new trailer presents the story much more straightforward and gives us a better idea of the kind of action and stakes that are being set. I love each little hint more we're getting in this, with the train fight and the Silver Samurai, this is going to kick ass. Bring it!

"We have a contender." Just a couple months ago the first trailer for Man of Tai Chi, the directorial debut from actor Keanu Reeves, arrived with some pretty impressive fight sequences. Now a new international trailer is here, and while the film feels like a combination of Gamer and Mortal Kombat. That may not get you interested in the film, but Reeves certainly has some style behind the camera, even if his acting in the film seems to be a little over the top. Either way, the real star seems to be Tiger Hu Chen and all these amazing fight sequences that might give the action form The Raid a run for its money. Watch the trailer!

"Wilford!" Is it time? Yes it is! We've been waiting to see a trailer for Joon-ho Bong's Snowpiercer and we finally have one. Though it comes from the other side of the world (via naver.com), at least it's footage and damn does it look good. Snowpiercer stars an ensemble cast aboard a gigantic train (built by Wilford!) that travels around the world now in a new ice age. Tilda Swinton plays a Dolores Umbridge-like Mason, with Chris Evans, Kang-ho Song, Octavia Spencer, John Hurt, Jamie Bell and Ewen Bremner leading an uprising. This looks as awesome as I was hoping, with a hugely deep world (that reminds me of BioShock) and tons of kick ass action. I totally love the way Joon-ho Bong shoots his film, and I cannot wait to see this!

The most famous woman in the world. The first UK teaser trailer has been unveiled for Diana, the Princess Diana film starring Naomi Watts, which was shot late last year to much paparazzi hoopla. This is pretty much everything you'd expect for a trailer for a film about Diana, with triumphant music for "The People's Princess" and plenty of paparazzi in the film, plus lots of smiling and emoting and the oh so typical running-while-upset scene. Watts actually looks good as Princess Di, but she's the only one they show, obviously. The cast includes Naveen Andrews as Dr. Khan, but he isn't featured yet. Anyone curious should take a look.

"Where does your journey end?" Warner Bros has unveiled the first trailer for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, running a full two-minutes introducing us to a whole bevy of new characters and the old ones from An Unexpected Journey. Besides Martin Freeman as Bilbo, Richard Armitage as Thorin and Ian McKellen as Gandalf, we get to see Lee Pace as Thranduil, Orlando Bloom (back) as Legolas, Evangeline Lilly kicking ass as Tauriel, plus Luke Evans as Bard. And yes we even get a look at Smaug. This seems like a big step up from the first movie, more entertaining and adventurous. Have at it!

With a rather strange assembly of talent that includes Paul Walker, Brendan Fraser, Elijah Wood, Matt Dillon, Vincent D'Onofrio, Chi McBride, Lukas Haas and "The Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus, this first trailer for the dark comedy Pawn Shop Chronicles is all over the place. There are three interconnected stories centered around a missing wedding ring which leads to a wild-goose chase involving meth addicts, skinheads and an Elvis impersonator (which Fraser makes the most entertaining part of the trailer). This feels like a straight-to-DVD kind of title, but maybe there's some fun to be had here? Watch!

"I can fix all of this." Whoa. This looks really, really good. I just caught wind of a kick ass teaser trailer for a new sci-fi short film from Tyson Wade Johnston, a name you may not recognize yet but should be getting familiar with. Johnston is a talented up-and-coming filmmaker following the steps of Neill Blomkamp. His first short was called Seed, set on an distant alien planet, which we featured back in October. His next film is Lunar, set in the year 2057, about an outlaw sentenced to imprisonment on the Moon who tries to escape. The full short will be out later this summer, but this is an impressive tease with solid VFX work throughout.

"What if she's right? What if there's something else inside the station?" Image Entertainment has debuted the official US trailer for Stranded, a very low budget indie sci-fi film from Roger Christian about a space station gone awry after a meteor storm. The international cast is lead by Christian Slater, but includes Brendan Fehr, Amy Matysio and Michael Therriault. We featured an early promo trailer when this was selling in Berlin, but this is a brand new trailer and it has some cool twists in the second half with the repeating "I'm not going insane!" line. That's about all to appreciate though, as this otherwise looks terrible.

Though it seems like someone down in Australia is having a dry laugh, on a slow news day like this, we're willing to entertain this teaser trailer for an independent documentary called Spook Central. Bloody Disgusting was sent this sneak preview from director Ivo Shandor which takes a seemingly in-depth look at Ghostbusters, not unlike Room 237, which dives into the themes and making of The Shining. The teaser contains brief pieces of analysis of the 1984 film, and while there are some interesting facts and observations from the voiceover, we're not sure this is really meant to be a genuine examination of the film.

"It's always the quiet places where the madness happens." IFC Midnight has released the full US trailer for Grabbers, an indie sci-fi monster movie from Ireland about some weird octopus-like aliens that find their way into a small fishing village off the West coast of Ireland. Richard Coyle, Ruth Bradley and Russell Tovey star in this drunken, comedic sci-fi thriller that looks like it might have some good FX work hidden throughout. The amusing setup is that if they drink alcohol their blood will be poisonous to the creatures, keeping them safe, or something like that. The poster art is pretty damn cool as well, added it below. Enjoy!

"Who could be behind this?" "Only one way to find out." Oh sh*t, time for Emmerich to blow up the White House (again). Sony has released one final full 4-minute, 20-second extended trailer for Roland Emmerich's White House Down, starring Jamie Foxx as the President and Channing Tatum as his protector. Yes, we all know it's an Emmerich movie packed with crazy action, and this is the final "ah hell nah" trailer to sell it once and for all since it opens just before the 4th of July. They use another remix of "Immigrant Song", which almost makes things too cheesy. But it's is the big badaboom, and damn does it look like a good time.

"The switchblade is like the cross - it stays with us our entire lives." Today's trailer is for the Italian film Siberian Education, directed by Italian Gabriele Salvatores, starring John Malkovich as "Grandfather Kuzya". The film is based on a memoir about growing up as a member of the Urka community in the small republic of Transnistria, located between Moldova and Ukraine. It's entirely in English and seems to focus on two friends growing up and how they all turn out in this crime-ridden town. The cast includes Eleanor Tomlinson, Peter Stormare, plus Arnas Fedaravicius and Vilius Tumalavicius. Take a look below.

"He won't stop. And we know who he is." Lionsgate has debuted a trailer for Scott Walker's thriller The Frozen Ground, based around real-life Alaskan serial killer Robert Hansen, who kidnapped and killed almost 20 women in the early 80s. Nicolas Cage stars as an Alaska State Trooper on the hunt for the killer who gets a big lead when one victim escapes. Vanessa Hudgens plays the girl, and John Cusack plays Hansen, with Radha Mitchell, Dean Norris, Ryan O'Nan and 50 Cent in the cast, too. This trailer isn't that great, but there might be an interesting kind of Zodiac meets Insomnia thriller here. But I'm not sure.

The first red band trailer for Filth, the adaptation of Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh's novel of the same name, really showed a wild and crazy James McAvoy as a bipolar, sex-crazed, drug-riddle police officer. Now we get even more craziness in the film from Green Street Hooligans director Jon S. Baird, complete with a wacky Jim Broadbent, a seemingly nervous Jamie Bell as McAvoy's partner and British character actor Eddie Marsan. This looks trippy and peculiar, but we wouldn't expect anything less from an Irvine Welsh novel. Between this and Trance, it's been quite an adult-themed year for McAvoy. Fire it up below!

"No one wants to get out of here as fast as I do." He's back! The latest film from auteur Woody Allen, titled Blue Jasmine, is about to hit theaters this summer despite no major festival premiere or the usual pomp and circumstance he receives. Set mostly in San Francisco, Blue Jasmine has an ensemble cast but focuses primarily on Cate Blanchett as a New York housewife going through her own life crisis. The rest of the cast includes Alec Baldwin, Sally Hawkins, Bobby Cannavale, Louis C.K., Peter Sarsgaard and Michael Stuhlbarg. Blanchett looks like the best part about this, but Woody always has great ensembles.

"Go for it man, get into it. That's the whole point, right?" Lionsgate & Wrekin Hill has debuted another new trailer for the Australian film Drift, starring Myles Pollard, Xavier Samuel and Sam Worthington as surfing legends from the 1970s. We ran a much longer original trailer back in December, but this one is a tighter cut focusing on the drug drama that could "end it all." It looks a bit better than Chasing Mavericks, and I am curious to check it out sometime, but not before I watch Soul Surfer or Lords of Dogtown or the doc Riding Giants first. The trailer ends on a fairly odd note, but if you dig surfing or Australia give it a look.

Well, the release of Man of Steel is just over one week away, and if you're not sold on the film yet, we're not sure what to tell you. From the first gorgeous full trailer all the way up to the recent trailer with General Zod running rampant after Superman, this film looks like it's going to be incredible. And now we have just one final trailer, complete with a product placement tie-in from Nokia. The trailer only features bookend dialogue from Russell Crowe as Jor-El, and while we've seen most of this footage, there are some breathtaking new action shots and bits to soak in. We're definitely ready to see Superman fly again. Watch!
