One more superhero couldn't hurt. Though it seemed like the cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past was all filled up, director Bryan Singer just revealed one last addition. Through Twitter, Singer announced that "American Horror Story" regular and Kick-Ass co-star Evan Peters is playing Quicksilver, a character with superhuman speed who happens to be the son of Magneto and the twin brother of Scarlet Witch. What makes this news truly interesting is that Joss Whedon has actually confirmed that both Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch would appear in The Avengers 2 as well. So what does that mean for Marvel and Fox?

Well, as Marvel's Kevin Feige explained to SuperHero Hype, "There's a specific arrangement with those two characters that would allow us to use them with Avengers, but not discuss or reference their mutant or Magneto-related lineage. [Fox] can use them as mutants and as Magneto's relatives, but cannot have anything to do with The Avengers." So while Fox and ...

Though many Star Wars fans probably are aware, maybe there are some out there who don't know that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the release of Return of the Jedi, the conclusion of the original Star Wars trilogy. It seems fitting to celebrate the film when a continuation of the space saga is coming with Star Wars: Episode VII, directed by J.J. Abrams. And so Entertainment Weekly commissioned Fanboys director Kyle Newman to gather up some talking heads of fellow Star Wars fans like Kevin Smith, Chris Hardwick, Topher Grace and many more to talk about their feelings about the film on this anniversary.

In the past, we've featured cool live-action commercials for the Halo video game series, and so we figured it couldn't hurt to highlight a new game from game developers at Bungie and Activision. That game is Destiny, and it's been in the works for quite some time. Now the game is poised to debut on the Playstation 4, and a live-action trailer for the video game has just debuted, and it's pretty bad ass. What's also cool about the ad is that it's directed by Iron Man helmer Jon Favreau and it also features "Revolution" and "Breaking Bad" star Giancarlo Esposito. At the very least, this has me interested in the new game. Watch!

Lost at sea. This film is a work of art. Stunning in so many ways, and it couldn't be simpler, but that's why it's so extraordinary. All is Lost, the second feature from Oscar nominated writer/director J.C. Chandor (of Margin Call previously), stars Robert Redford and only Redford as the sole captain of a sailboat that ends up lost at sea after being damaged in the Indian Ocean. There isn't any dialogue, only a few lines from Redford throughout, and nothing but him trying to survive on a boat for 106 minutes. It's grueling, thrilling, meticulous, inspiring and most importantly, moving. I can't stop thinking about it and how gorgeous it was.

All is Lost may just be a simple story of a man lost at sea, but the themes and metaphors and visual details hidden within are full of such depth it's truly spectacular and riveting to think about further. The film opens with a voiceover of the final letter ...

Since Universal is sending the high speed action bonanza Fast & Furious 6 into theaters this weekend, it's the perfect time to tout their racing drama Rush from director Ron Howard and starring Chris Hemsworth. Set in the world of Formula 1 racing, the period drama follows two rival F1 drivers and the crash that nearly took the life of driver Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl) in his rivalry with driver James Hunt (Hemsworth). It looks like a pretty stylish drama, and something a little different for Howard as a director. The trailer might sell the sizzle a bit more just for the Fast & Furious franchise audience, but it looks good.

Here's the new trailer for Ron Howard's Rush, originally from Apple:

The Hangover Part III is a bad comedy, and not bad like The Hangover Part II's ridiculous in-your-face rehashing of the first film's inventive and hilarious plot. It's as if Todd Phillips, writer/director of the series, got so fed up with complaints of the second film's copy-and-past attitude that he's gone in a completely different direction, to the point that The Hangover Part III isn't really even a comedy. The dark corner the second film took begins turning even harder from scene one. Full scenes go by without attempts at a laugh. What started out as fun has turned deep, dark and depressing...kind of like a bachelor party.

And there's very little blaming Phillips for taking this approach to following up a film that, in my uneducated belief, he had no interest in following up in the first place.

For those who may be interested in scary horror over epic action or big laughs this summer, there's hopefully some good stuff for you on the way. James Wan (who is directing Fast & Furious 7 next) brings his new film The Conjuring to theaters in July, and if the teaser trailer and more revealing theatrical trailer are any indicator, this movie is going to be scary. Now an international poster has arrived, and it's quite creepy. We're not sure how the image ties in to the overall story of two ghost hunters (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) venturing to a family's house terrorized by aggressive spirits, but we'll see.

Here's the international poster for James Wan's The Conjuring from IMP Awards:

Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. Based on a true story, The Conjuring tells the horrifying tale of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in ...

Since December of 2010, the project While We're Young with director Noah Baumbach and star Ben Stiller has been gestating with fluctuating cast members. Initially James Franco was going to be a part of the project, but he fell away, and Jesse Eisenberg was circulating six months later. Now it sounds like the whole cast is coming together for Baumbach to get this film off the ground. Stiller is still leading the film about a free-spirited Brooklynite twenty-something couple who inspires an uptight documentarian (Stiller) and his wife to loosen up, and now The Wrap reports Amanda Seyfried has joined the ensemble cast. Read on!

Seyfried is just coming off the Best Picture nominated Les Miserables, and will soon be heard in the animated film Epic this weekend, not to mention Seth MacFarlane's A Million Ways to Die in the West next year. Seyfried will play one half of the younger couple along with "Girls" star Adam Driver. And for those ...

While The Social Network producers are working on Sex on the Moon, a story about a college student and two female accomplices who stole moon rocks from a supposedly "impregnable" high-tech vault, another original story with ties to space is coming from Warner Bros. Deadline has word that the studio has just hired up and coming writer Richard Cordiner to adapt Spacesuit, based on the book of the same name by Nicholas de Monchaux. The film will chronicle the true story of how bra and girdle designers from Playtex successfully made the spacesuit which made it possible for astronauts to land on the moon in 1969.

It actually sounds like this could unfold like The Social Network as it follows the success of seemingly unqualified people, including a former TV repairman, a car mechanic, and their crew of spirited seamstresses, as they accomplished with aerospace geniuses could not. It's amazing this kind of story hasn't gotten more attention considering Buzz Aldrin and Neil ...

We've seen some pretty gruesome footage from the serial killer thriller Maniac starring Elijah Wood. When the film premiered at Cannes last year, an uncensored trailer made it online, and a red band international trailer showed off more gore last fall. Now the film is finally poised for release here in the United States and one final red band trailer has emerged for the story of a mannequin store owner who leads a double life as a serial killer with a fetish for scalps. It's definitely different for Wood who is best known for childhood roles and his lead turn in The Lord of the Rings, so it should be worth seeing. Watch!

With what might be a sign of studios finally running out of 80s films to throw into the reboot machine, Universal is bringing back a 1994 film to the big screen with a fresh take. THR has word the studio is still developing a remake of Timecop, the sci-fi action thriller starring Jean-Claude Van Damme as an officer of a police force that regulates time travel. In the original film, a crooked politician is using time travel to further his political career, and Van Damme is tasked with stopping him. The film was actually based on a Dark Horse comic book serial (two-issue series), so this adaptation could be something more like the comic.

Here's the trailer for the original 1994 version of Timecop from director Peter Hyams:

A first look at the IMAX 3D concert feature film Metallica Through the Never showed Chronicle star Dane DeHaan in some sort of strange seemingly post-apocalyptic world where he plays one of the band's crew members sent out on a mission during Metallica's roaring live set in front of a sold-out arena. But as you can see in this trailer, his mission is cut short by a car accident and some sort of crazy riot that just escalates and gets crazy while Metallica continues their epic stage show. It looks like this will only be enjoyable for fans of the metal band, but there are some cool visuals that will pop on the IMAX screen in 3D.

Here's the first trailer for Nimrod Antal's Metallica Through the Never from Yahoo:

Going by both the red band trailer and much more tame green band trailer, all sorts of hell will be unleashed upon Hollywood in This is the End, the apocalyptic comedy from writers and directors Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. There's been glimpses of aliens, weird creatues, giant pits, and tons of fire, and now some religious terror in a red band TV spot. A creature from hell shows up and it looks like one of the guys ends up getting possessed by Satan or at least some sort of demonic force. Between this and The World's End, the apocalypse is going to rule comedy in theaters this summer, and we're pretty happy about that. Watch now!

Following the footsteps of the first teaser for Delivery Man, another comedy is getting introduced to audiences who will be catching The Hangover Part III this week. This time it's Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema's own We're the Millers starring Horrible Bosses co-stars Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston. The latter is looking pretty saucy as a struggling stripper, and Sudeikis asks her to pose as a fake family (including Will Poulter and Emma Roberts as their kids) in order to smuggle some marijuana from Mexico into the United States for the rich drug dealing Ed Helms. With a colorful cast of supporting characters including Nick Offerman and Kathryn Hahn, this red band trailer is hilarious. Watch below!

The last trailer for the Pixar Animation sequel was the final theatrical trailer, but a new online trailer has surfaced highlighting the original music work of musicians Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia, who crafted a song called Roar for the film. It's quite an upbeat trailer, taking some bumper cues from the trailers for The Hangover Part III, but instead of being the end, it's actually where it all began. One more month! Watch!

After tackling the Italian family drama that unfolded from The Godfather trilogy, director Francis Ford Coppola will again chronicle the Italian-American life experience for a new untitled film with a story unfolding between the 1930s and the 1960s. THR reports Coppola is currently writing the film, for himself to direct, about a boy and a girl in their late teens. There aren't anymore details than that, but it's said to be a coming-of-age story. As of now the project isn't set up at a studio, so there's no financing or distribution deals in place, but Coppola could always go the indie route like he did with his last self-financed film Twixt.

Of course, Twixt never really took off as an intriguing piece of filmmaking, and this sounds much more accessible and commercial, especially coming from the director of The Godfather. Though Coppola's films as of late have been much more low key, works like Tetro and Youth Without Youth are still ...

After debuting at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, the acclaimed directorial debut from Joseph Gordon-Levitt is finally coming to theaters this fall, and the first trailer is here. The Dark Knight Rises star also wrote and stars in the film which follows a selfish modern-day Don Juan who struggles with an addiction to pornography as he attempts to find a woman that can compare to the sensation he gets from pleasuring himself through adult entertainment. Scarlett Johansson also stars in the film with Julianne Moore and Tony Danza (for an Angels in the Outfield reunion). The film is original, funny and just damn good.

The recently released final trailer for Pacific Rim showed off the massive action sequences between the Jaeger robots and the monsters terrorizing Earth. If you're not sold on the movie yet, then it's likely the new film from Guillermo del Toro just isn't your cop of tea. But for those who are anxious to dive into the epic sci-fi blockbuster, a new featurette has just been released which looks at the logistics of the Jaeger robots and how the two pilots inside of them operate the machine so seamlessly. Here we get a sense of some of the human elements as the pilots are forced to share memories and experiences from their past. Watch below!

Here's the featurette for Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim from IGN:

Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy, Pan's Labyrinth) is directing Pacific Rim from a script by Travis Beacham. The film follows a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi), who are teamed to ...

Adam Sandler and his buddies David Spade, Kevin James and Chris Rock are back together in for the comedy sequel Grown Ups 2. The first trailer showed us what Sandler and his family are up to as they've moved back to his hometown where Shaquille O'Neal is a cop and Taylor Lautner is a douchebag frat boy. Now we get more of the silly antics these friends get up to which include throwing Spade in a giant tire down a hill until he throws up everywhere and a challenge that results in some nude cliffdiving. Oh, and stick around for Nick Swardson if you happen to like that sort of thing. Watch below?

With The Hangover Part III hitting theaters tomorrow, new comedies are looking to introduce themselves to audiences and Delivery Man with Vince Vaughn is one of them. Director and writer Ken Scott has remade his French Canadian comedy Starbuck for American audiences with this story of a middle-aged man whose life is turned upside down when he learns he has fathered 533 children through sperm donation. As you can imagine, this comes as quite a shock, and for Vaughn, that likely means a lot of fast-talking. This teaser doesn't show much except Vaughn doing his thing and Chris Pratt at the end, but it's still amusing.

Here's the teaser trailer for Ken Scott's Delivery Man from YouTube:

Delivery Man is written and directed by Ken Scott, remaking his French Canadian film Starbuck. In the film, an affable underachiever (Vince Vaughn) finds out he's fathered 533 children through anonymous donations to a fertility clinic 20 years ago.
